Club Nintendo Exclusive: Grill-Off with Ultra Hand

Nintendo has updated their Club website with a new WiiWare game, released today, called Grill-Off with Ultra Hand.  The game is unique in that you have to be a Club Nintendo member to purchase the game and that purchase uses Nintendo club reward points, not the traditional Nintendo points.  Regardless, the promotional video is worth watching.  Meat falling from the sky and busting through walls a la Kool-Aid man, what more could you ask for?

D&D on Microsoft Surface

These are not the best videos, I apologize.  I was trying to film in one hand while actually playing in my right.  It has been entirely too long since I played D&D so I am just a little rusty. Second, longer vid after the jump.

PAX Pics

I finally uploaded the pics I have on my laptop. My cousin has the rest on his camera so I will post them later.

E Doing the Snoopy Dance

I managed to attend Major Nelson’s Live recording of his podcast.  You can listen to it here.

While there, I shot some quick video of E doing his best Snoopy dance.  Enjoy.

PAX East and Inside Xbox

I just got back from PAX East and I have 80 messages waiting for me on Xbox Live.  Seems  my interview with Ryan (Treit and True) from Xbox went up on the dashboard.  I will be posting some pics and vids from PAX as soon as my slow laptop can process them.

About Credits

I personally watch the ending credits to every game I complete.  I guess my thinking is that if I enjoyed the game enough to finish it I should watch (and read) the credits.  Do you watch the credits for games that you play/beat?

The ArchDemon has been slain

I finally defeated the Archdemon in DA:O and completed the story.  It was challenging.  I do not think that my Elf Mage was spec’d out properly for the task, but my allies and I were able to best the giant beast.  Woo hoo!

I guess a mark of  a good game, especially a single player game, is your desire to play it again.  As soon as the credits finished I started a new character.  I am now a female Dwarven warrior of noble blood.  I am anxious to play the game exactly opposite as my first character to experience the “other” side of my decisions.  Here we go again… lol.

Too Many Games

As you can tell by the image above, I was able to play a lot this weekend.  Dragon Age is still primarily the game on my brain these days.  I am now a level 19 Elf Mage and I feel pretty secure that I am nearing the end of the game.  I haven’t blogged about it, but I started Left4Dead 2 recently as well.  Let me just say that I loved L4D for all that it was… but L4D2 is an upgrade on all fronts.

Late to the Game – Dragon Age: Origins

I know it has only been a month since it’s release but I finally got my hands on Dragon Age: Origins (thanks for the Christmas present babe).  I am starting the game with both “The Stone Prisoner” and Warden’s Keep DLC.  I am not entirely sure what each of these add-ons bring to the table other than specific quests but I figured it best I start the game with them included.

Water Coming Soon?

Media Molecule’s latest Twitter post makes me think that either the Water Beta is being expanded to more people or Water will be available to everyone soon.

From http://twitter.com/Media_Molecule:

My, my, this is a bit of a leaky vessel, water seems to be leaking all over the place.”

UPDATE: Looks like I was right:
